He sure is a doting grandpa.

I am so so so beyond excited for you not to be "working" anymore. You know what I mean. There is something to be said about giving all the first fruits of your time to things that really matter.

I WAS torn yesterday watching the Bears and the Broncos. I really was. We went overtime just as we had to leave for a Christmas party so we tuned the game on the radio. Man, what a finish! That Tebow is nearly magic. The news tonight said the Bears were "Tebowed". He's his very own verb now.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. We are just so excited to see our boys, and know it will go by way way way too fast.

Blessings on your days, Robin.Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13156836460576467905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35565357.post-24380948412524520092011-12-12T12:59:43.231-07:002011-12-12T12:59:43.231-07:00Me again! So guess who did them? Yep - I did it for 6 years. It was exhausting, but rewarding. When I quit as my kids got into teens, others stepped up and we've never been without - a blessing indeed. But I totally know what you mean! Some folks have moved away who did big jobs that made things nicer - and nobody is stepping up. I don't dare say anything!

I used to crewel embroider, cross stitch, regular embroidery, knitting, crocheting, sewing - even a tad bit of quilting (cathedral window pillow tops) constantly. Now I do none of the above. It's sad.

Thanks for stopping by today to visit!Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14938607712512860569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35565357.post-8745439584968101992011-12-12T06:11:22.111-07:002011-12-12T06:11:22.111-07:00I agree with you - if it's going to be cold, t...I agree with you - if it's going to be cold, then it most definitely needs to snow! ha!

And I, too, am notorious at checking online and coming up with horrible diagnoses to health issues. So glad that your husband's actual diagnosis was something not nearly as serious as you were imagining and that he's doing well with his meds.

Have a wonderful Christmas ... see you in the New Year!Kathy ... aka Nanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17626590048036292030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35565357.post-3493315695397357702011-12-11T22:20:52.846-07:002011-12-11T22:20:52.846-07:00I'm the same way about thinking I'm going ...I'm the same way about thinking I'm going to slow down and savor Christmas, but don't ever seem to accomplish that. But everything is so much fun.

I have read Boede's first two series several times each and always wished I could get somebody else to do so - Dwight did the first series and is now on the second and I am so glad. He's loving them as much as I did.

So glad your husband got a diagnosis and good meds. That must have been so scary! It's hard to preach when you're coughing and wheezing!

I finally posted today too, about our Christmas doings. Isn't it amazing how much we used to write, and how little we have to say these days? But I'm glad we neither one are quitting entirely. We still have to meet IRL!!

I'll bet they're going to miss you in the office!Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14938607712512860569noreply@blogger.com
