It's Friday again. Time to share the 5 favorite things of the week. As I read the other blogs on Fridays I always enjoy their pictures. I need to get better at pictures. So next week.....
Anyway, here is my top 5 of this week:
Potato Soup. I love potato soup. Fall is the perfect time of year to start making it and it's so easy. So this last week I made a big pot and used it for leftovers. If there is anything better than potato soup - it's leftover potato soup. Yum!!
My fireplace. It's the kind you just turn on with a switch. But I love turning it on in the evenings and just sitting in the living room. There is nothing that makes you feel warmer or cozier.
The fact that it only took $29.44 to fill my car with gas this week. That's much better than the $49.00 it cost me not that long ago.
Diet Dr. Pepper. I just love it. Nuf' said.
My Harmony Wood knitting needles from Knit Picks. They are awesome. They are smooth and have reallys sharp points. They knit really fast. And they are very pretty. I like the price too. And they would make an awesome stocking stuffer. Hint. Hint. ;)

I love potato soup too and you're right that there's nothing better, except leftovers! I'm so envious of a pushbutton fireplace, I want one. Mine is wood burning and takes some effort and usually I'm the only one that will do it so it only gets used once or twice a winter.
I keep thinking I'll do pics with mine too but haven't yet!

We love potato soup! Such a comfort food on a cold day. I have a push button fireplace too, except mine is phoney baloney electric. LOL. But it still creates a nice atmosphere. And I hear ya on the gas price.
Potato soup is one of my favorites. I am loving the lower gas prices, too.

Wow, great list! I love potato soup, fireplaces, low gas prices, and Dr. Pepper (the fattening kind :-)).
Nice list... I like Dr. Pepper too, and gas prices are much better than last month. I've never tried Harmony needles but have heard good things, and they do look so pretty!
What fun to read! I had to smile about filling up your car with gas...I had to do the same yesterday and was thrilled to pay $44 instead of the usual $75 we had to pay the past few months. : )
Now I want to make soup!!
