Fun in Bloggityville

This being my first holiday season as a blogger, I have been delighted to see so many fun holiday events sponsored by fellow bloggers. I am anticipating taking part in what I can. Here are just a few of the fun things coming up:

Christmas Tour of Homes

Boomama is hosting a Christmas Tour of Homes - how fun is that? I think this is the event that I am the most looking forward to. I love Christmas decorations and I am practically giddy with excitement to see all the lovely homes and rooms I am going to see on this tour! Because you ladies are nothing at all if you aren't creative! I love, love, love to decorate for Christmas so this event will definitly be on my to do list.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
And then Shannon at Rocks in My Dryer is hosting this great big huge give away contest. Who doesn't like free stuff? I am still working on what I want to give away. Working in my mind that is - not working on something particular. I want it to be really nice and worthy of such an event. Stay tuned!

And GiBee at Kisses of Sunshine ishosting a fun homemade gift exchange as well. Is there anything nicer than a homemade gift? I don't think so!

I'm sure there are many more fun contests out there just waiting to be discovered. I will post about them as I find them! I am in the midst of my Christmas gift sewing - it's so much fun for me. I feel more organized this year than usual. I have made my list of people I'm giving to and I have most of their gifts decided on. Now it's just a matter of getting them done!

Edited to add:
And here is one more great holiday blog with fun ideas. I linked on to this from The Butler's Wife post today:
It's a fun blog called Sew, Mama, Sew and this event has a craft to do every day for the month of November - it starts tomorrow so hurry on over and check it out!

Thank you for the link love! And I agree with your comment you left on my blog today... respectful dialog is the way to go. I also agree that Shannon from Rocks in My Dryer had many excellent points! It's a hard topic to fully envelope into one post, isn't it??

I am really looking forward to GiBee's too. Are you working on something special to share?

And the tour of homes is perfect. I had suggested to one blogger an Open house carnival and she said I should host it and I said NO, I don't have time.

I knew someone else would come through and so I am glad that Boomama is going for it. I will love that too.

And that giveaway. My goodness. Everyday they add about 200 more . Who can keep up???

I don't want to get pregnant to get a baby quilt either .. no WAY thankyouverymuch.

You are funny. Inspiration. If you only knew. I wish you were my next door neighbor.

We did the Christmas Tour of Homes last year and it was such fun. I'll be in Hawaii for our anniversary when it happens this year, but I may repost last year's - because you know I'll have my laptop with me! Or maybe I"ll post our Bed and Breakfast where we're staying. Hmmm.

I did the Christmas tour of homes that Boomama did last year, it's fun and you'll enjoy it! I might do it again and am excited that you'll do it. The other links look good; I'd seen Becky do that one on the sewing, so fun! Y'all do so much better than me getting things made...can't wait to see what you're working on! I should be doing all that but just haven't gotten much motivation yet.

All these give-a-ways sound fun! I'm planning one myself as well. :-)

Because this is your first holiday season as a blogger, Robin, you have no idea the treats you're in store for.

The events you've mentioned are awesome and are repeats. We all had so much fun with them last year.

You're in for such a good time. Holidays in B'ville are wonderful. So many people contributing so many great ideas. It's just a blessing.

And let me tell you, if you can read your favorites on Christmas Eve night, without getting misty eyed, you're a stronger woman than I am. It's beyond wonderful.

Welcome to the holidays in Bloggityville!
