This Weekend, I . . .

Keys to the Cottage

Spent a lot of time outside.

Pulled some weeds.

Made several jars of blackberry and strawberry jam.

Cut coupons.

Went through some old magazines, pulling out the pages of ideas and recipes I want to keep.

Wondered why life has to be so difficult sometimes.

Mowed the lawn.

Finally got the pond filters cleaned.

Enjoyed my husband's family recipe of authentic Italian spaghetti and meatballs with family.

Loved on my grandbabies.

How about you? What did you do this weekend?

Sounds like a good one. Even the mowing the lawn part ... means summer is here for you. I hope you have a great week too!

Sounds perfect from the grandbabies to the spaghetti, to the jam!

This weekend I made an apple pie for my husband, which we later enjoyed on the patio Sunday afternoon with homemade ice cream! I also washed some windows, helped my husband & his tractor out of the muddy ditch, assisted in the installation of our new kitchen window and attended a lovely outdoor wedding Saturday evening. It was a great weekend!

I picked up Care Bear from camp and found her all skinned up on her face from hitting a tree branch while riding a horse - she's very tiny and it could have been tragic. She had an angel on that horse with her!

Sunday night we went to conventions - Dan Ketchum is a mighty speaker! We had the new GS - the one from Cape Verde. Interesting.

You must be really busy! Hope your 4th was good - ours was rained out, but Monday was perfect. Rain ever since.
