Success!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This was last weeks promise:

FOR ONE WEEK I PROMISE TO:

1. Write down every point I eat. Every single one. Even the creamer in my coffee.
2. I promise to drink two glasses of water a day. This is two more than I normally drink.
3. I promise to walk 5 days this week. I promise.

I DID IT!!! And I lost 4 1/2 pounds!!! I feel so good about this last week - so here is my promise list for this week:

1. I promise to write down every single point I eat - every one.
2. I promise to drink three glasses of water every day.
3. I promise to walk 4 days this week. I'm going out of town for business on Thursday through Saturday and I'm not sure if walking will fit into my schedule while I'm gone - just keeping it real.

I am going into this week feeling strong. I really hope my business trip doesn't foul me up - but I'm going to give it everything I have got!

I get a button! I get a button!

Good for you Robin! I'm so happy! This is very encouraging and inspiring. Apparently I need to do something different, because what I lose keeps finding me again.

Yea for you! I didn't get two glasses of water a day down, though your committment had challenged me to last week. Maybe I will do better. I know I would feel better. It's not that I'm really drinking something else in it's place..just not hydrating!
Congratulations on a great week!!

WooHoo! That is awesome Robin. You got it goin' on girl! Keeping track of everything you eat is such a good idea. Sometimes we forget the little things like a lifesaver or creamer. Those little calories do add up.

I'll be praying that you can do well while on your business trip. Remember food is just your energy source! And be thinking about the weight you lost this week by sticking to your goals.

Grab that button!!

Hi came across your page from Tales from the scales.

If you're interested in an electronic way to keep track of everything you eat. check out daily plate, fitday or ....I forget the last one will come back when it comes to mind:-)

I currently use Daily Plate to track (www.dailyplate.com) and it's wonderful because you see how many calories you're eating daily along with fat carbs sodium protein etc. Basically everything you can find on the Nutritional Label, it tracks. I find it helps because I can do really really well calorie wise but notice I was too high in fat or sodium.

So just wanted to share for you or any one else that may be interested. Oh you're also able to make your food diary public (it is optional) and write a blog as well as join groups and visit the message board.

Ok the other one I forgot about is sparkpeople.com:-)

Congrats on your lost btw!!
