It's Always the Simple Things

in life that give me such a thrill. Either that or I need to get a life :). At any rate I have just been so excited about my new acquisition. I had a Premier Jewelry Party at my house last week. This was the first time I had even heard of Premier Jewelry and I was really impressed. And one of the Hostess gifts I received was this:

Which at first, I didn't even know what it was. Then I learned that it is called a key finder. Which made me envision a device containing a flashlight. Because the inside of my purse is deep and dark and sometimes scary. Like this:

Keys are hard to find in there. But this handy, dandy little key finder works like this. You clip it to your keyring:

And as soon as you take the keys out of your ignition, you hook it over the side of your purse like this:

And then, whenever you need them and wherever you are, voila, your keys are instantly available.
No more dumping out your purse in the mall parking lot, or reaching in and grabbing your lip gloss, your sunglasses, your Tide Stick, everything but your keys. I'm telling you, it has simplified my life. And Lord knows, I need a simpler life!

Also, I completed these sweet little aprons for our church's preschool. They have a kitchen center and were in need of some aprons. They were very easy and I think they are just darling.

Oh, and one more thing. Boise State lost their first game since December of 2005 to University of Washington. 24-10. And that's all I have to say about that.

Oh, those aprons are just darling. I know my littlest would love it. And I have a pocket on the outside of my purse that does the same thing as your key finder. Now, if they could make something for men........ lol

I wanted to let you know that yes, the bell in the petticoat is still there. It's not very loud, but it's there. :) I had a wonderful momma. Thank you for commenting. :)

Hugs,
Melinda

Ouch! That is a hard loss. And that is all you probably SHOULD say about that.

Cutest little key finder. I love that idea. I always like purses with a small pocket on the outside to stick my keys in. Or a pocket on my jeans.

And those aprons are adorable. Those little kitchen helpers will look so cute wearing them. What a sweet contribution to the class.

I have something similar to your key finder, but it's for my cell phone. It is the handiest thing, no more digging for the phone as it's ringing and ringing and. . . oops missed it again!

Loved your post about fall. It is such a beautiful time of year and, as you said, it's strangely renewing considering it's the time leading into winter.

I'm working on my "Show Your Creative Place" post. Should have it up in a minute! Great idea!

So sorry for the football loss--but I must say, all in fun, your loss is our gain!! :)

I love your key finder--I need something like that as I am sick of dumping the purse out all the time.

Robin,
The aprons are ADORABLE!!! You are such a sweetie for making those for the kids to play with. There will be many hours of baking make believe apple pies and cakes in those things! Probably for years to come!!! I'm so in the mood for FALL to come, but we never really have fall in texas...so enjoy it for me!
Have a wonderful day!

Yup, I need a key finder. And maybe a cell finder too!
