Our Little Man

Here are two very proud and very tired grandparents holding their little man for the first time.
And here are a very proud and very tired mommy and daddy showing off their little man. They don't look proud or anything.

And here is the little man all comfy and cozy under his warm light. Keep praying for him. He is in the neo-natal intensive care unit. He had a pretty traumatic birth and his blood pressure and blood sugar are all out of whack. He's going to be okay - but he won't be able to come home just yet. And that makes it hard for his mama and daddy who just want to go home and start being a family.

Gramma Robin ~ I am so proud of you for keeping the secret of the little boy. How did you do that???? I admire you so much.

I am glad everything is okay. Give him our love and the parents also.

Welcome, Tyler!! I am sorry she had such a hard time. Do you know why he was so early and it was difficult? Just remember, NICU is a wonderful, wonderful place!! My niece is the NICU social worker in the town where you work. I wonder if they've met.

You and Michelle are "spittin' image" of each other!

So - what is the private thing about Captain Michelle and Captain Bradley??

Dawn-
Brad and Michelle are the Wednesday night leaders in our church pre=school program called Patch the Pirate Club. So they are Captain Brad and Captain Michelle to all the little pre=schoolers in our church~ Landon thinks it's only right that Tyler be Captain Tyler!

Congratulations Nana Robin! --Or is it Grammy---or Grandma? I know it won't matter to you---just to hear that sweet child! I KNOW from my experience...that your life will NEVER be the same. He is beautiful! So precious! I can't help but smile at you all in your pictures!
I am sorry that her labor was so long. I pray she gains strength soon!
BTW---you need to wear a sign for me---in June---or a button or something....I want to hug your neck at the SheSPeaks! I am going!

Well I can hardly stand that I don't get to hold him anytime soon!!! Great Aunt Judy--is that what I am? :) Surely Michelle and Brad will want to get a jump on their first "family" vacation, right?! :) I just think that Oregon would be the perfect destination! Ha! Ha! Tell them "hi" for me...

Great pictures Robin! He's really such a pretty little baby in those pictures with his parents and grandparents, but I guess I should say handsome for a boy. I hope they are all doing better now and that he'll be home soon if he's not yet.
What fun you'll have now!

(I think your daughter looks like you too!)

Hello Grandma!

I'll bet you love that, huh.

He's beautiful, Robin. Absolutely beautiful and I know how happy you are.

I trust that by now you've held him in your arms. So I know you know, there's just no describing how you feel.

I'm so happy for you.
