Florida - Day One

December 28. 80 degrees.

We have spent today sitting by the pool, taking a walk, eating seafood while sitting on the deck, wading in the ocean, and being with the people I love the very most in the whole wide world. Can it get any better?

I don't think so. Especially as we hear the reports of the blizzard taking place at home. Oh, we are having a white Christmas alright. On a white, sandy beach! And we are totally loving it!

Yay! I am so glad we could come through for you and make all your dreams come true.

Robin ... you just got off a plane in the tropical paradise of central Florida ... what are you going to do next?!?!?!

(hint: you arr supposed to say "I'm going to Disney World!"

I emailed you at your work email (I think). I hope you get it.

Glad you are having a good time! Sunday was a white wintery wonderland here at home, but 50 degree weather on Monday has made it all a muddy mucky mess! Happy the roads are great again though. Just wanted to let you know you are living Mesa's dream right now. She told me last night as we were snuggled on the couch, "Mom, my wish would be to take my whole family--like you guys and grammy and grandad--and go swimming in the ocean and pick up seashells to bring home to show my class." Of course I replied with, "ME TOO!" Have a wonderful memory-filled time!

Absolutely gorgeous family photo and the trip sounds like something you guys are making memories you'll treasure for years. 80 degrees - it's 39 here, and raining. Enjoy every minute of it!
