The Sweetness of it All

Sometimes there are just no words to describe the cuteness.

Instead there is an overwhelming presence of sweetness and you think that if you dare to breathe it might just all disappear.

So you hold your breath with all your strength until you feel you might explode.

And when your breath bursts forth from your body you close your eyes until you can't take it anymore and then you squint ever so slightly to see that God truly has blessed you with the most awesome of gifts. . .

. . .a grandchild.

You are so right!! I love your unique way of expressing what many of us feel! Your little one is just precious! I'm looking forward to seeing my grandchildren from Virginia get off the plane tonight!! Fun times at Nana's and Poppa's this weekend!

Indeed - completely agreeing with you on it all. I've got our 3 year old here overnight for a slumber party - cant wait. There's nothing as sweet as time with a little one.

Beautiful - and SO true. And you hope you have your camera and can catch the shot before they move!

I'm hoping maybe for some one on one time with the girls as the months go by instead of all at once!

Hi Robin,

I found your blog from your comment on Lysa T.'s blog. Your comment caught my eye because I'm a Boise girl, too!

This sure was a beautiful post. Your granddaughter is precious! : )
